All lodging and ground transportation are provided including pick up from the airport in Oaxaca. On top of that certain things will be included to facilitate a smoother itinerary. These include: entrance to certain sites, tolls, and other peripheral expenses.

Groups will never be more than 10 people. This allows for a much more personalized experience. On top of that, you spend much less time waiting for the group and more time having adventures. Having such a small group size also gives us much better access to restaurant reservations, tourist sites, hotel reservations and transportation options.

You will need to facilitate travel to Oaxaca City at the beginning of the tour and from Puerto Escondido at the end. We are happy to help you search for the best flights or itinerary per request.

Including travel days, it is possible to do the entire trip in 8 days, Sat - Sat. If you work Mon - Fri you will only need to take off 5 days of work.
Depending on where your are flying from it may be difficult to facilitate this. We recommend spending a day or two in Mexico City before or after the trip to make your itinerary less stressful. This way you can also experience another amazing city with endless opportunities on your trip. Flights from Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca City are 1-1.5hrs from Mexico City and tend to be extremely cheap.

Our journeys are by no means modest excursions. We wish to guarantee your safety. All visitors to Wahaka Adventures must be covered by travel insurance. This won't set you back more than $100 and will protect you in several ways (medical, loss of baggage, flight interruption, etc.). Notably, some companies offer broader coverage than others. Two weeks before the trip's departure, travelers must provide us proof of travel insurance.

You will receive a confirmation email. Make sure it’s not in your spam folder! This email will confirm your registration for the trip, provide you packing instructions, and a link to get travel insurance.
We send you a request for your travel details four weeks before your departure, essential reminders, emergency contact information, accommodation information, and other useful information. We will be accessible for communication in the weeks leading up to the trip in case you have any further queries.
We will set up a Whatsapp group chat for everyone a week before the event. This way, your guide can inform everyone of any last-minute information. This will also be how we interact with one another while traveling.
Finally you will come on the trip and have amazing adventures and unforgettable experiences!

If for some reason you cannot go on the trip and you notify us more than 30 days before, you will receive a full refund minus the nonrefundable deposit.
30 days before and you will receive a 50 percent refund minus nonrefundable deposit.
Full payment is due 30 days before the trip.
In lieu of cancellation you can opt for a credit to use on future trips, minus the nonrefundable deposit.
If we cancel the trip for any reason you will receive a full refund including the deposit.
