Detailed Itinerary


Day 1- Oaxaca City

  • Arrive at hotel

  • Meet and Greet

  • Explore the city

  • Welcome Dinner

The first day will be used for everyone to arrive and get to know each other before the adventure starts the next day.

Day 2- Oaxaca City

  • Drive to Hierve el Agua(Petrified Waterfall) 1.5hrs

  • Lunch

  • Mezcal Distillery Tour

  • Return to Hotel for naptime/freetime

  • Dinner

Hierve el Agua is a spring fed mineral pool located on the side of a mountain. The constant runoff of the mineral water has created a petrified waterfall which locals say has healing properties.

Oaxaca is probably most famous for being the home of Mezcal. At a family-owned distillery you will receive a tour and learn about the Mezcal making process. Afterwards they will give you free samples until you buy some yourself!

Day 3- San Jose Del Pacifico

  • Breakfast

  • Explore the ruins of Monte Alban

  • Drive to San Jose Del Pacifico(3hrs)

  • Optional activities of Hiking the Magic Mushroom Forest or Temazcal Ceremony

  • Dinner

Monte Alban is a Zapotec archeological site located right next to Oaxaca city. Abandoned almost 1000 years ago and uncovered in the 1800s it is a beautifully preserved ancient city with pyramids and structures you can get right up close to and climb.

San Jose del Pacifico is a picturesque mountain village located at the peak of a ridge in the Sierra Madre de Oaxaca mountains. know for its rich indigenous culture and relaxed attitudes, this town attracts a very bohemian crowd. Many people decide to partake in psilocybin fungus which can be purchased anywhere in town. The natural beauty and mountain views make this an ideal place to experience it.

Day 4- Zipolite

  • Breakfast

  • Hike/Explore San Jose

  • Lunch

  • Drive to Zipolite (3hrs)

  • Sunset at Playa del Amor

  • Dinner

Mornings are usually bright and sunny in San Jose del Pacifico. This can be a great time for a hike or to wander around town and browse all the artisan handicrafts which abound in the village. There are a couple great cafes to find breakfast and a cappuccino.

There will be a three hour drive to Zipolite where we will have time to rest or walk around the small beach town before a spectacular sunset at Playa del Amor. After sunset, dinner will be held at a beach restaurant.

Day 5- Zipolite

  • Beach day!

  • Get a massage

  • Yoga on the beach

  • Tan nude

  • Watch Fire dancers at night

Zipolite is best known for being Mexico’s only clothing optional beach. The small town nestled into the hills has a pristine 2km beach. The vibe is very bohemian with some hotels and bars also having clothing optional policies. Mostly popular with backpackers and LGBTQ travelers, Zipolite is a hidden gem with an extremely liberating atmosphere. On this day, one will have a free day to walk around Zipolite, get a massage, do yoga on the beach, buy handmade jewelry or lose some tan lines! After dark, the town offers several good spots to experience the nightlife. Zipolite is famous for being in the hit Mexican film "Y Tu Mama Tambien"

Day 6- Puerto Escondido

  • Breakfast in Zipolite

  • Drive to Puerto Escondido (1.5hrs)

  • Check into Hotel

  • Free time

  • Dinner at Chacahua

  • Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour

Lagunas de Chacahua is a national park west of Puerto Escondido. Known for having a high concentration of dinoflagellate plankton which glow when activated by motion. Here you will have a boat tour through the lagoons mangrove channels to the beach where there are restaurants serving the catch of the day. After Sunset a short boat ride into the center of the lagoon with an opportunity to swim and activate the plankton.

Day 7- Puerto Escondido

  • Wake up early for 7am dolphin cruise

  • Return to hotel to nap

  • Breakfast

  • Beach time

  • 5pm baby sea turtle release at Playa de Bacocho

  • Farewell dinner

Dolphins are most active around sunrise, but the early wake up is well worth it for the guaranteed dolphin sightings. The dolphins are very playful and love chasing the boat and racing in front. During the cruise you will have an opportunity to jump in and swim with the dolphins.

Later in the day we will visit the sea turtle release center where we will learn about the conservation efforts and have the opportunity to release a newly hatched baby sea turtle into the ocean.
